Bushfood farmer uses Biochar to combat salinity

This article is about "a West Australian bushfood grower [who] is praising heavy use of Biochar to be the saviour of her highly saline soils". An incredible story about how bushfood grower Karry Fisher-Watts transformed her saline property - from salt crunching underfoot - to growing five hectares of bushfood species. Remediation of the soil included application of "eight tonne of Biochar into made-made wells, spreading it along rip lines and also putting it inside permeable biomass walls".
