Biochar is a Natural Organic Soil Improver, a specialised porous charcoal product - very high in carbon. It has incredible properties including the ability to holds moisture and nutrients ready for plants to access. Biochar acts like a sponge making soils more drought resistent and often reduces the need for fertiliser. This product can be mixed with up to 20 Litres of garden soil, potting mix or compost. Biochar is often best blended with a nutrient rich material before use . A free organic OCP Eco Seaweed Sachet is included - once in solution just add Biochar in supplied bucket (allow to absorb) and then blend with a quality compost to help populate with microflora prior use (best left for 2 weeks prior use). Typically 10% Biochar to 90% compost/quality potting mix before using in pots, planting or general garden use. Can also be surface applied to established garden beds or placed under mulch.
